Do you have a great idea for a new game and want to preserve it? As soon as a new game is handed over to a publisher or undergoes prototype testing, you want to be sure that your idea remains your own. Evidence preservation helps with this. If you want to preserve it, fill in order form below and send your idea to the Bavarian Games Archive as a deposit! You can find the conditions and the FAQ about the procedure further down in the text.

The International Games Inventors’ Fair is being given a new and modern backdrop.
The Bavarian Games Archive has entered into a new cooperation agreement with the Nuremberg Spielwarenmesse. The Inventors’ Fair is being integrated into Nuremberg’s International Spielwarenmesse and will now be called the International Game Inventor Convention.
Do you know that feeling? You've developed a game, and everyone disappears when you put your creation on the table. That may be because your friends have had to test it with you many times before. Perhaps even in phases when the game wasn't really mature and good yet. Your friends and family are already biased. In your regular gaming sessions, everyone always wants to play released games, games that work without the risk of having to change the rules midway through the game. Your family and friends might also be too nice to offer real criticism because they don't want to hurt your feelings.
