Order Form Preservation of Evidence

The document may contain everything which is important for the game, eg. a copy of the rules, the game board, game material, test reports, all kind of descriptions, fotos, etc. In case of legal disputes about the rights, you may refer to this document and therefore also prove when you had this idea and what the content of your game idea exactly contained.

The procedure is as follows: after filling out the form, the customer receives an email with the invoice, which he can pay by bank transfer or Paypal. Once we have received the money, the documents and instructions will follow by email as to the form in which the evidence preservation document can be sent to us. If we then receive the evidence preservation document as a registered letter by post, we will send an email confirming receipt and store the materials for 5 years.

Within the European Economic and Monetary Union, you have to pay 75€ for a 5 year preservation. If you send your game idea from further countries, you have to pay 100€. After 5 years there is the possibility of an extension for another 5 years at a price of €40.

• How does it work?
  Fill in the online form, send the money, wait for the request (takes few days normally) and then send documents as described in the instructions. 
• How long is the presevation of evidence valid?
  5 years. After that, the documents are destroyed without opening and without any further warning. 
• How does the extension of the deposit time work?
  Before the documents are destroyed, we will send an information email with the possibility of an extension for another 5 years. This option can then be used.
